Below we have listed our “How To” Guides. These information packages summarise our experience of various community projects, delivered in our own way, here in Fintry.
We wish to share our knowledge with other groups who are at the early stages of project development. Ideally these will be as a source of inspiration and information on topics such as external wall insulation, draught proofing, biomass boiler installations, rural car clubs and community gardens among others.
Our projects were created for, and enthusiastically assisted by, the residents of Fintry to meet the aims of the Fintry Development Trust - to make the village a zero waste, zero carbon and a sustainable community. We thank all our members and supporters among our residents who helped make the ideas become reality.
We must greatly acknowledge the financial support of Climate Challenge Fund,The Big Lottery, Stirling Council, Cycle Scotland and Peoples Post Code Lottery for providing financial support throughout our project developments.
Please feel free to download and utilise our guides as you feel necessary.
We would greatly appreciate if you would acknowledge their source and leave us a note to say you have accessed them.
Good luck with your projects!
