The trust is preparing a Pilot Study to install several different types of renewable heating/energy systems in houses within the village.
Public meetings have been set to explain the project on Saturday 23rd January and Wednesday 27th January.
The aim of the study is to assess the suitability and savings from each technology and progress with a rollout program for the rest of the village.
If you would like more information and you are interested in applying for selection, the Trust will be giving two presentations explaining the details and process at -
THE MENZIES HALL
10am, Saturday 23rd January 2010
and
8pm, Wednesday 27th January 2010
If you are unable to attend you can still fill out the expression-of-interest forms available at the Sports Centre from Friday 29th January 2010.
All expressions-of-interest will remain confidential and anonymous until after the selection of suitable households. All expressions-of-interest will need to be with the trust by Sunday 7th February. (Submitting an expression-of-interest does not commit you to involvement in the project - it merely indicates that you are interested.)
We hope to have suppliers of kit, information and examples available at both events.
Look forward to seeing you there.
For anyone who isn't able to make it to the meetings, the powerpoint presentation can be downloaded here.
