Fresh '09 (Fintry Renewable Energy Show) was a two day event held in the village of Fintry, Stirlingshire on the 8th and 9th May.
It was aimed at community bodies and householders who wanted to know more about what they could do in their communities and households to tackle climate change.
There was a full programme of events, including a community conference on the morning of Friday the 8th and tech talks on the morning of Saturday the 9th. Both afternoons included a trip to Earlsburn windfarm and visits to domestic installations of low-energy heating systems around the village.
Additionally, on the evening of Friday 8th, there was a discussion in the village hall on the roll and relationship between government, industry and communities; and on the afternoon of Saturday 9th Glasgow Science Centre provided entertainment for all ages.
Throughout both days, there was an exhibition of energy saving technologies and advice where you could find out more about how to heat your house in a way that uses minimal energy and at minimal cost.
The event was free and both days started at 10am.
